The TSUBAME integrated-head tripod is a classic model for photography. While the market is dominated by models with separable heads and legs, this model's integrated design eliminates the worry of the head loosening during transport or shooting, and it is lighter and more rigid than models with detachable heads.
This tripod is robust and durable, eliminating unnecessary gimmicks and allowing for easy maintenance by the user. It is equipped with a sturdy elevator using rack and pinion gears. A shoulder strap is also included as standard, making it easy to carry. This tripod has been constantly improved to meet the demands of professional photographers, resulting in high reliability.
TSUBAME Tripod legs
While the basic form of the TSUBAME tripod is an integrated head, we also sell legs separately to accommodate a variety of shooting styles. Seven sizes, from two to five sections, accommodate a wide range of uses. They're ideal for switching heads depending on the subject, or for situations where carry-on baggage size restrictions apply.
While carbon fiber is currently the mainstream material for the leg pipes, we deliberately use a carefully selected, top-quality aluminum alloy to achieve both high rigidity and light weight, essential for location shooting. Each section of the pipe is machined using a specialized machine to create a single piece of metal, something that is impossible with carbon pipes. There is no need to worry about cracks or peeling adhesive, and the excellent durability and reliability are guaranteed. And yet, the actual weight is lighter than other companies' aluminum tripods and comparable to that of carbon tripods.
TSUBAME 3D Head / Monopod
The TSUBAME Head is a classic among 3-way heads, trusted by professional photographers. It moves smoothly and stops precisely—it sounds simple, but very few heads can achieve this. The knobs and pan rods do not require any force to tighten; simply turning your wrist provides sufficient locking force. Furthermore, minimal misalignment when tightening firmly after deciding on the composition contributes greatly to ease of use.
We also offer a monopod lineup that uses a single Husky semi-short 4-section leg almost as is. This expands its uses when a tripod cannot be used or as a handheld auxiliary. Its robustness and durability, free of unnecessary gimmicks, make it an exceptionally reliable monopod variation honed over more than 60 years.
TSUBAME KIRK Models
To enable TSUBAME tripods and heads to be used in the globally standard Arca-style, we also offer a variety of models equipped with quick-release clamps specially ordered from KIRK Enterprise Solutions (KES). The top plate is manufactured without a cork sheet, allowing for an anti-rotation pin to be embedded. Since each manufacturer has officially recognized this as a collaboration model, there are no worries about warranty or maintenance.
The clamp is a dedicated QTT 2.6-inch model. This model, manufactured by KES exclusively for TSUBAME, has 1/4-inch fixing screw holes. It can be rotated 90 degrees forward and left and right, and cannot be set to any other angle, so the clamp will not accidentally loosen. No tools are required to change the direction.
